Christmas Margarita Recipe

This delicious and festive cocktail can be made to order in a shaker or add a little extra water to make punch for your party!

  • 1.5 Parts Tequila
  • 1 Part Unsweetened Cranberry Juice
  • 1 Part Unsweetened Lime Juice
  • .5 Parts Ginger Liqueur
  • .5 Parts Orange Liqueur
  • 1-2 Parts Simple Syrup
  • 3 Parts Water for Punch recipe (only 2 parts water for the cocktail version)
  • Ice
  • Candied Limes, Oranges, and Cranberries for Garnish

  1. Fill the bottom of a punch bowl with oice.
  2. Add Tequila, Lime Juice, Cranberry Juice, Ginger Liqueur, Orange Liqueur, 2 Parts Simple Syrup and 3 Parts Water using a measuring cup at the ratios above (Start with 1.5 cups tequila to serve about 20 people)
  3. Stir vigorously to chill and dilute the drink, if all ice dilutes then add some more.
  4. Pour a small amount to taste if more simple syrup or water is needed. (I like this to be a little less boozy than a cocktail when I serve to a group)
  5. Garnish with dehydrated oranges and limes and candied cranberries. I like to put a of each in some sample cups and leave the rest for self serve.
  6. Optional–rim the glasses with a festive sugar sprinkle mix to pump up the holiday vibes!
  7. Cheers!
